I am sorry for all the headachs and heartachs that have come about as a result of all of this. I dont not think that the Coyle's intintionally set out to take anyones money. I think they hit a rough spot and (like birdie#3) think they were overly optomistic about their ability to rebound. I do think that they were trying their best to keep everything running smoothly. But were feeding all of us "lies", in hopes of keeping moral up. I too hope that the full truth eventually is known, and the Coyle's can get everything running smoothly again, as that is probably the only way that anyone will recieve a refund or B/O. Smiley, if you dont mind my asking, who was your rep???

Thanks for your explanation as well. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to get to know my rep, Jennifer M. as she was assigned to us right before all this mess started. It was hard getting hold of her--as well as anyone else. I do know that the reps that I did talk to were just as frustrated as we were. And I do appreciate all your efforts in trying to rectify the problem.

Thank you very much for the detailed explanations as to the happenings at SA from the rep point of view (not in the early layoffs) It is helpful to more fully understand what you guys went through. Let me be the first to apologize for the comment about hiding behind the counter. This comment was not made by me but rather quoted in our local newspapers and on the news. I'm sorry if it offended you, I can honestly say that I didn't realize the extent of what you were dealing with as a rep. {lease accept my apology. Also, note in my previous posts that I offer up my thanks to my rep for a great job done. I appreciate her more than I could ever be able to express. If you were one of the reps that aided in my refund and actually getting any backordered scrip - thank you!
While it would be nice to think (hope) that all schools eventually get a refund I assume this will not be the case.
I do hope that those individuals that knowingly lied to the reps and put them in such a horrible position to pass along such lies to the customers get their due. Schools and scrip coordinators put such an incredible amount of time in to running scrip programs to aid our poorly funded schools and afford the kids an opportunity to have books, basic supplies and modest field trips. To 'rip off' in such a scandalous fashion these schools and clubs is simply criminal - especially when toward the end they knowingly continued to take orders that were very unlikely to be filled. Please let me clarify that I do NOT blame the reps for this, I blame the bosses that KNEW the true story. If it eventually comes out (officially) that the bosses - specifically the Coyle's, proceeded in a malicious manner to take funds when they knowingly could not fill orders, I hope that some very strong form of criminal punishment take place.

Hello everyone,
Let me start off by saying that I am also a former SAI employee. I would like to apologize to all of you. For a while we were feeding you lies, not because we wanted to but because that is the information we had. Being that none of us wanted to believe that we were being lied to as well, we happily gave you the information we were being told. I would like to defend Jennifer M. (By the way she was a casualty of the layoffs that happened in early November.) She was a very strong Christian lady. What happened with HV’s order is a result of the new software, I am sure you all have come to hate as much as we did. The only way to switch the denomination was to cancel the old order and place a new order. None of us liked the new system, but tried to do the best with what we had. Jennifer M (along with the rest of the staff) would never do anything immoral intentionally. She was always one you could rely on for prayer and support. And it saddens me that her reputation (along with the rest of the staff) has been tarnished because of things that were out of our control. Please accept my apologies, and I hope that you will realize that we too were victims in the Scrip Advantage problems that have arisen. Many of us would break down in tears on a daily basis because of the awful things that were happening to so many of you, and wishing and begging that there was something we could do to help. Please know that your reps have done all they can possibly do to get you as much scrip and/or $$ that they could. I wish I had more information to give you, but sadly I do not. Please know that I am hoping this turns out positively for everyone involved.

As a former employee of SAI, I have to say that almost all of the people I worked with were good hearted people. There is some arrogance on managements part, they jumped the gun on to many things to fast to improve their company and as a result of this, plus bad timing with certain things this is the end result. Ma ;) ny of us that were employed there would continually break down and cry at some of the stories we were being told by our customers. Almost everyday, we were begging and pleading with management and the accounting people to please please, just send out this refund check, some went unanswered and some got their checks.
I resent the person that posted the replie when people actually came to the building and the doors were locked that we were snickering and laughing behind the counter. That is NOT THE CASE. We were crying and scared the day that happened. Imagine being held hostage in your own employment office. Some of us were chased down the street by customers when we left to get lunch or go to the store.
Like I said I'm a former employee of Scrip Advantage, for my own personal reasons I had to leave, I have a family I need to support and I couldn't risk being laid off, fired, etc...I know there are still people that are working there to resolve all of your matters. Hopefully, with time, good guidance and patience all of your hardships will be resolved with Scrip Advantage. Good luck to all of you. ;)
