Scrip Advantage

I do think everyone will get their money back eventually. I have ordered over $40,000.00 from Great Lakes in the last two weeks and they have been awesome. Not one Backorder. I have been swamped with orders and I was able to fill them all.

I had received an email from someone at ScripAdvantage saying that we are going to hear something next week right before Christmas. Has anyone else heard anything?

Yesterday on Tom Martino's trouble shooter radio show, it was mentioned that this company has gone from good with BBB to unacceptable rating and that the D.A. in California is investigating them. We are lucky to only be out a few hundred dollars, I've heard of schools who are out tens of thousands to them and it's not looking too promising for a comeback. Hate to shed bleak light on the subject.

I am not arguing with you--I agree with what you are saying about the reps. I was asked who my rep was and I responded. I was not intending to complain about my rep as your response implies. I am just upset that this whole mess occurred. Not just with me but with all the other organizations that are out so much money. Why else would I be up at 2:00 a.m. sitting at my computer?

Concerning the double charging with the denomination change--apparantly there are two ways to do it. One way would credit and reorder and the other way would be just to replace. This was told to me by another rep who did the same thing for me without incurring another charge.

Well HV I happen to know that your rep may not have had time to talk to you as your other reps did. Did you know they were instructed NOT to call their clients? That their job was to temporarily answer the "Q". So before you get grumpy because she did not keep in constant contact with you look at the whole picture. As for the scripture on her signature, she is human like you are just because she is a christian does not mean that does not mess up, and that she does not need a job like anyone else. IF there was anything else she could have done I am sure she would have. As for her being the one to double charge you, I hate to tell you that your reps ummm have no responsibility to the bank file what so ever. So you need to reevaluate that statement.

From what I have heard SA is working on correcting the issue whether they will get it squared away is contigent upon what they do I am sure in the next few mos. I don't know how much validity that holds but you never know.

I have now had a handful of order with GLSC. They are awesome! I admit, I too was very gun-shy of scrip. Of these orders recently placed, only 1 very small back order existed which arrived a few days later with my next order that had NO backorders! Our parents love the added variety of vendors too!
Another wonderful feature is that I have been getting regular e mails from GLSC advising in advance vendors that will not arrive in time for Christmas and stating that these will be unavailable to order until their stock is replenished. What a concept - not taking an order for an item that will be a known backorder!
I also got a note from them stating that an added day will be needed for shipping order because they had already shipped 8000 orders last week alone - a 120% increase in volume. And still no backorders!
While I completely understand being nervous about scrip, I've checked their BBB standing (no complaints) and spoke with several references who expressed how easy GLSC is to deal with.
When I have had questions, I have sent e mails to Tim K. and gotten a reply within a matter of hours.
This company actually makes it enjoyable to be a scrip coordinator.
