Scrip Advantage

HVparent,
I was feeling the same way a couple weeks ago! We were placing our first order with GLScrip while all of this Scrip Advantage fiasco was brewing. It made me a bit nervous about getting into the scrip business!!! But, so far, so good! Our first order went incredibly smoothly and we will be continuing to do monthly orders.

Our school is going to place our first order with GLscrip on Monday. With everything going on with SA we are very apprehensive about it. How is GLScrip doing so far with all their additional SA customers? Are backorders still minimal? Does the order really take 4 days to receive? Our order will not be large--basically a "try it and see" but we cannot risk any more losses this year.

My rep's name is Jennifer M. I do not know if she still works there or not. She was not in constant communication with me as previous reps were and I found this frustrating. Yes, she may not have liked what was going on and was avoiding talking to me but she was one who double charged us. I asked for a denomination change on something I know was in stock and instead of just replacing, she had canceled (for a credit it appears we will never receive) and rebilled us. That is why I stated what I did on a previous post. But I cannot blame them or any other rep because they are only doing what they are told. I agree with t'doffcrd, they are victims just as we are. As an additonal note, there was one individual who was let go back in October. But before he left, he had credited one of my backorders--without my knowledge. This was before I realized that there were serious problems with Scrip Advantage. I wonder how many others he had done this to. I never did receive that refund, but he was trying to do all he could to help.

Do you think that there is any chance that SA will refund the money that is owed to all of us?

From what I know they lost their orginal capitol because they would not extend their line of credit. They had to petition the board to match a beginning amount before their new investor would step up to front them their new line of credit through wells fargo. They have to have an intitial amount of 12 mil before W/F will even touch them. They have lost all of their partners at this time due to the bad PR they are generating.

From my experience with the Coyles they are very shady, they may not have intentionally started out ripping people off but they knew long before the real bo issue started that they were in trouble. They expended way to much to impress potentional investors. Does anyone know if Safeway is still doing business with them. They were running the Sway through a middle man company called Blackhawk something.

Their is actually a detective investigating these allegations and two DA's working to get this situation fixed for everyone. I have not heard anything new on that end for about 3 weeks but then again I have been out of the loop.

I heard three days ago that they are still working on getting the funding. It is not there yet and may actually not end up happening. I think they should just let it go.

In response to the posting by HV for the rep with scripture keep in mind that YOUR REP's are just as much of victims as you are. They were only told so much and the majority of what they were told was lies. The employees that are still there are the ones that you should be concerned about. SO before you start getting ticked off at your rep find out if they even still worked their or not. What else you might have heard they were not being told. I am fully confident that at the time of your posting about your rep they had already been laid off for speaking their mind way to much in defense of their clients and given a fairly bs excuse as to why they were being laid off.

I hope this helps to clear up any other questions you might have
