Scrip Advantage

That is exactly what I did. I used every extension I knew. When originally getting voice mails, I started from the lowest extension number I knew and worked my way up starting at 411 up to 456 (Sonny ~ Director of Bus. Development or Destruction seems more accurate as he gave repeated unfulfilled promises) and 458 (Kevin ~ Mgr of Customer Svc I think ~ who knows~ I sent e mails and left messages from September but NEVER got any reply)
Anyway, I too ended up with a refund. I'm not exactly sure how that occurred. I do know it had NOTHING to do with Sonny or Kevin, but more as the result of my WONDERFUL rep! My refund posted early November. I'm still beyond amazed that I was so fortunate. I can't tell you how many times I've looked at my bank statement because after seeing the previous posts I still can't believe I got a refund.
What is the OC Register and how can I view it? I'm on the west coast ~ home of this destructive giant and know that just in my region literally every school that participated with SA was out money to the tune of many, many thousands of dollars. Our papers and local internet sites are riddled with a regular flow of articles about SA. Perhaps because they are local.
Several weeks ago a post came from someone located in their same building. I would be interested to hear what is currently going on as I haven't driven down there personally. The newspaper mentioned that people went to the door and could see staff crouching behind furniture to hide while others simply laughed when they tried opening the door. Kind of sounds like the arrogance of Saddam. Laughing through destruction yet found crouching in a hole. A similar fate for the Coyle's?

I started back in September hounding them. I posted on this site on 11/1/05 with no results to report. On ll/5/05, I got through to several people but one nice lady checked the records and saw that the refund was going through. I had called the main number then I started putting in the mailbox numbers of all the people that had helped me at Scrip Advantage. I had talked with some on the phone and had been emailed by others. So I had a lot of extension #s.
Today in the OC Register there was a full page ad on Scrip Advantage and the local schools that are out of their money. Worth the read.

S.Williams - how did you get through to the company? No one answers the phone when I call - or they don't even give me the option to talk to a person. Has anyone else gotten a refund lately?

Two weeks ago I received my money (11,000.00) but I must say that I called every day for two weeks. I must have talked to 10 different people. Finally I got through and was promised my refund. They promised 3 or 4 days and it turned out to be 10 days. I feel so fortunate to get it all back. I did have bounced checks that they were going to refund me but I will take the loss. I have had great results (still) with Great Lakes. I have ordered over $20,000.00 and no backorders.

I feel like such a fool! SA has 16K of our money, I've pleaded for my rep Brandi T to call me, sent her emails, saying I could loose my job over this! I didn't think she would knowingly lead me astray. How stupid was I? I have not heard one thing back from her, but I did get a letter from mr. coyle...blah blah blah. I switched to GL scrip and it's been a dream working with them. They are not even bad mouthing SA, and started off by telling me, hopefully, things will work out for their company. I had to replace 16K worth of stock, I was set up an account with GL in 2 days, placed my order for 16K, and received it ALL in 2DAYS!! Not one back order so far, and I've ordered quite a bit of scrip.

Thanks for all the postings, at least things are being kept alive for the moment with SA, I pray that our school gets it's money back. We are not a big school and rely on scrip as a necessary fundraiser.
Thanks Again.
