Cost of movie license

Hi there,
We work with Movie Licensing USA. We offer a free Family Movie Night kit that gives you all sorts of information on how to plan this event as well as information on the licensing process.

(Oh, and the comment above about not charging admission and therefore not paying for a license is correct..You would still need a license to show the movie.)

The fact that you are not charging admission does not eliminate the need for a movie license. Visit this site for more information:

You'd need to get in touch with Movie Licensing USA at 1-877-321-1300. I'd recommend you download our fee Family Movie Night Kit. It has all the information you'd need, not only on licensing, but it has great ideas for doing a movie night.

Our school size has ranged from 1300 kids to 550 kids over the past 3 or 4 years and we have always paid $400.00.
