Gas prices, what are you paying?

We're at $2.92 today and I know it will we $3.00 by the weekend. Those kind of prices can quickly eat into your household budget. With natural gas prices skyrocketing as well I have a feeling it's going to be a tough winter for many. We'll probably see it in our fundraisers. Good thing we have a nice cushion from last year-we may need it to cover our budget.

Our prices for regular gas are about $2.75 a gallon. However, I live only about 45 minutes from where the oil refineries are and as a result we tend to have lower gas prices then most.

And do you think it will have any impact on your fundraising?

We are paying $3/gallon here-at the cheap places and we are about to start our first fundraiser of the year and I am extremely worried that we are not going to make our goal and have to cut our budget. I just wondered what everyone else was going through.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
