I received the same reply from Pearl Paradise today. I sent my request in July.

Seems Pearl Paradise won't be donating for the rest of this year. Got a reply back that they are out of money/resources for this year.

yup, it doesnt work, and i wouldnt do it because they sense suspcion.

A quick tip I just thought to share -- go to the tutoring/test prep type businesses in your area. I talked to a rep from Kumon at a back to school fair and she gave me her card and said to contact her for a 3 month tutoring certificate!
