If anyone is interested in asking the CBS Shows, here's a link:

Good luck to all!

PinkCalyx.com Jewelry is an Internet based retailer that has been supporting national PTO's and PTA's fr many years. They have launched a new, easy program to help you raise funds for your auction.

Basically, they trade the gift certificates for a 'Like' on their Facebook page. The steps are outlined on this page below:

I'd like to sincerely thank ALL the contributors on this site . . . you're all amazing! This is my first year serving as the Donations Coordinator for the auction at my son's school. This site has been a tremendous resource. In addition to the actual company info. that is shared here I have also gleaned a lot of wisdom from all the random tips posted as well.

One concept that recently came up at a meeting was in relationship to the greenery/gardening items we offer at our auction. If you know of ladies that love to garden and have a lot of perennials perhaps they can offer up the opportunity for someone to come to their home and enjoy their surplus! Perennial gardens often need to be thinned out for the health of the plants. They could list a handful of items to offer but then simply walk around with the winning bidder and let them dig up a variety of items. It's a bit of free labor to the donor too :-)

Our event is one month from today & I'm excited to see the things that are coming in. I'm already beginning to look ahead to next year and how we can streamline some of our processes and improve efficiency. I'm definitely realizing that something like Google Docs could be a very useful tool. I've never done anything with them and was wondering if others could share more about how they structure their document (spreadsheet). If anyone happens to be willing to let me view their document I would greatly appreciate. I'd like to get ours set up in the best way possible at the start versus a longer "learn as you go approach".

Thanks again for your generous spirit!

Karen
