2013 ULTIMATE DONATION LIST

10 years 8 months ago #164251 by SPPTO
The original list has quite a few outdated or broken links. Is there another list?

Not to complain, so sorry, but I'm up to my eyebrows in PTO legalese right now and only have a short amount of time daily to bang away at these.

I would first like to thank the administrators for continuing the hard work to keep this thread going. This is my second year being in charge of a tricky tray auction as part of my daughter's marching band home competition. This thread has been such a valuable resource for my success!! So thank you to everyone involved in keeping this going! :) I also wanted to share my "Yes" list with everyone on here since without this I wouldn't have had as many. I want to pay it forward. We are a public High School Marching Band Booster Club in Central New Jersey. Thanks again! :)

Hi HDC_warner and Dolly,

I am the chair of my Church Auction. I have never done anything like this before! This message board has been a life saver. Since you are both church related, please let me know if you have information you want to share, I'd be happy to email you. Thanks so much!

Hello! I am planning 2 fundraisers (BY MYSELF) one in the NYC and one in the Philadelphia area. It is because I am running a half marathon through team-in-training, which supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I have never attempted anything like this before, and I need to raise $1,900 minimum for the society. This thread has helped a lot! I also have a few suggestions:

-Groupon/Living Social. I have contacted many companies on the local NY and Philadelphia sites, and have received quick yes'es! The smaller, more local businesses are very generous!

-Make sure when you're on the website, you find a direct e-mail. Often, sites have a "Contact Us" page, but sometimes you will see on that page, a direct e-mail. I feel this streamlines a quicker response!

I have a great Google Drive list (of both yes and no's); one side is for NYC donations , the other side is for Philadelphia/NJ donations. If anyone would like further information on vendors, please let know! I am extremely touched by the community's kindness.
