auction or raffle!
You're still raising money, the way I see it. What's the difference....obviously I know I would get more with raffle but its just about the same concept
Our event is in February and it said 3 months out to apply so that is what I did. I just got an email today stating that the tickets should arrive within 6 weeks, hope so since my event is a little over a month away and I followed all their guidelines.

This is heaven. Exactly what I needed.
I am all new to this site as of today. I noticed in the I believe 2011 forum I saw what caught my eyes the most as a great fundraiser
-The Disney $500 package for fundraising. I was thinking that I could get tickets made[100 per book] and sell each ticket for $5(too much?)
-Is this easy to get?
-Has anyone seen a bigger eye catching fundraiser than this that will make the buyer purchase a ticket?
By the way there is hardly any support here through the booster club and it is also a bit out of control. I would rather not be involved in what seems so political, so I am trying to do this on my own and raise money. By the way this is to raise money for the High School basketball team; the have their own/additional non-profit club.
Be careful if you are going to raffle off the Disney passes. The last time i looked at the donation rules, I thought they prohibited them from being used in raffles.
