We do Lollipop Grams for $1. Basically, kids and parents can write a short message to their friends or children. The messages, along with a lip shaped sucker (I personally would prefer heart shaped suckers) is delivered to the child sometime during the week of Valentine's Day. There are some great sites for cheap lollipops. (Sorry, I don't have them here at home or I would list them for you.) We do the same thing for Christmas, with candy canes. Last month, we sold over 1400 candy cane grams. We had the majority of the candy canes donated by our local grocery store.

As far as fundraising events: maybe some heart themed events such as a Dance Your Heart away family dance night, or Skate Till Your Heart’s Content (at ice/roller rink) night…Some groups have put on Hoop it up for Hearts fundraisers (like student and teacher basketball tourney) and donated proceeds to Heart Association. If you’re looking instead for quick fundraising Valentine activities, you could do a dress down day (requirement to wear red) or do a heart themed telegram sale (students, parents, teachers etc. pay a dollar or two to write/send message to students along with a red lollipop, carnation, chocolate kiss, carnation etc. Good luck!
