Question: Overstepping Question
We recently had work done on a part of our school that was in our budget. I am the treasurer. I said I would mail the check to the company that did the work. Our vp paid the company online with her credit card without discussing it with me but did discuss it with the president. I’m supposed to write her a check now. I’m uncomfortable with this and upset that it wasn’t discussed with me. I also don’t understand why she would’ve paid with her credit card, around $2,500 when that is the reason we have our pta account and I said I’d mail the check, which we’ve always done before. If she gets cash back rewards or miles for using her card could we get in trouble for her paying like this? Do I have a right to be upset about this?
