The Sandlot is one of the best family movies! Love it! Hey - I'll volunteer to play right field...no one ever wants it and all I was ever good at was hitting. Average was .472, kicks butt if I do say so myself. I'll admit, that's it for my athletic ability:rolleyes:

LUV - thanks for the lemonade...so good!

I feel like a quick game of baseball... anyone? Bring the lemonade, too!

Mmmmm, thanks LUV. Sunny Days, Moonroofs and Lemonade....

One of my favorite things about The Sandlot is recalling how kids just made up nicknames for each other. Hubby and his brother are 43 and 46, educated, professional, well respect family men and hubby still calls his brother "Fats".

Growing up, there was a field by my house that we played in. Nobody knew who owned it but nobody seemed to care that we played there. Every summer my mom would drag the mower over and knock out baselines and a pitcher's area so we wouldn't play in the street.

cottonwood, thanks for the visual-ewwwwww! Glad to hear you're all feeling better. How about I whip up some homemade chicken noodle soup just to make sure you get all healed up?!

It was VERY hard to come to work today. It's sunny and warm here and with all the running we've been doing the last couple of weeks, I'd love a day off to work in the yard and just sit in the glider and sip iced tea. I did open the moon roof in the car as I drove to the office. That cheered me up a bit.

Here's a big pitcher of lemonade. Let's toast sunny, warm days and moon roofs!

Silver, enjoy those lilacs for me too! We don't have them here in Alabama and I miss them so much.

Nice thought onaroll but I just think you can't post pictures here - nothing to do with your computer. I just sent clematis vines to my step mom for her birthday (via whiteflowerfarm.com ~ my favorite site). I love clematis. They don't really have a scent but they're so pretty. (And. OMGh - you're too funny!!! Fries with that..... You're killin' me Smalls)

Hey tikes - nice to see you around!

Anyone ever see the movie The Sandlot? We love it so much that we watch it whenever it comes on satellite. The best movie line ever is "You're killin' me Smalls". We use it all the time when we get frustrated, tickled, annoyed, whatever. It's perfect.
