Rain, GO away, come back another day (week) I have flowers and such to plant at school

CC- the wrench was more expensive than his IQ, no sense in wasting
energy and $$$ on that

CC, just lets us know that there are morons in the world and we have to remember to be kind to stupid people. I think you were smart not to waste a perfectly good wrench or risk throwing your arm out for a guy who probably wouldn't have even understood what you were upset about anyway.

The site did seem to explode with personal issues this weekend. It always amazes me how often people take changes, suggestions and 'new energy' personal. Once an a while we all have to take a moment, stop talking (or typing as it may be) for a deep breath and look around for some perspective.
Wonderful weekend for us. The kids had a blast wondering around outside with tshirts, shorts and sandals. Everyone went to bed with rosey cheeks from all the sun ... it was a good weekend.
Have a good Monday everyone!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend!!!

d, no rest for the weary. I don't know how you keep up with it all!

Gosh, I leave for a few days and the message boards explode. Tsk Tsk. People sure do get wound up, don't they?

We made it out of Bowling Green alive but not without damage to the truck, the trailer, the racecar and the golf cart. We've started calling it the Bermuda Triangle. One guy almost didn't make it out alive. I'm working away on the car ~big trouble, big mess~ when some guy drives by nice and slow, sees a girl working on the car and yells out, "Hey, do you know what you're doing?!?!" Chuckle head. He's lucky I have lousy aim and didn't want to lose my favorite wrench anyway so I just smiled and said, "No, I'm making it up as I go."

Deep breaths.....

AAARGH---Very late Market Day delivery on Friday, 4 games (of which hubby and I coach 3) on Saturday, 4 sets of sports pictures (2 Sat and 2 Sun), 2 birthday parties (bowling and skating) on Sunday, one dinner party (thank goodness we were the guests) Saturday, and one unexpected visitor Friday through Sunday. Fixing dinner for 6 tonight almost sounds too easy.
Hope everyone else enjoyed this beautiful Spring weekend that we did in VA. That's why we live here...the glimpses of grace we get between the heat and the cold. Absolutely lovely....I'm sure this is the temperature in heaven all the time...

d, I did, I rocked.... =)

GaMom, house is done, garage is going up, closed on Monday, moving in June.

We're in Bowling Green, KY (Beech Bend Raceway Park) this weekend, the Hemi Hater track. So far, so good, though. Ran three test runs today and it's getting quicker every run. Tomorrow should be a good day.

The truck didn't fare as well tough - bad diesel - clogged fuel filter. The helpful people at OnStar led us to a dealer/service center. We rolled in with our big truck and 40 ft trailer. The sales manager came out and got snippy with hubby about moving that trailer out of his parking lot. Hubby shot right back at him so he turned on me instead. Big mistake. I may be smaller than hubby but I'm lots meaner. The poor guy didn't even see me coming. He finally apologized..... So I guess he isn't completely stupid.

I didn't take the test but I'm sure I'm 100% Yankee. I'm only Southern when I fake it, or "put a little sugar on it".

I'm off to bed. Long day tomorrow......
