Hmmm--what sounds good when it's cold...I like nice warm heavy soups or slow roasted meats....I told the guys here I did braised shortribs in a beef redwine sauce served over smashed potatoes...that was VERY satisfying and good.
Silver where are you--aren't you our big "reader"....I joined a neighborhood book club and we're reading "Eat, Pray...love". Very nicely written but a little bit self absorbed for me. She is on this self exploration journey and all I'm thinking is if she were a woman in the PTO I'd think she was a nut case. I also wonder too what if I am completely boring in life. I mean what if no one, NO ONE could write a book about me that anyone would want to read....
Then I realize that I'm being self absorbed and too girlie and get up to do the dishes or something.

I sooo know the 3's thing! In October my husband's car was stolen, on my van the driver's side door won't close or lock....depends on the sign of the moon! I guess #3 would be my oldest turned 17 or the youngest gets to miss five days of school because of the flu! UGH.
