Shawn--sincere condolences on your loss. I hope you and your wife and family find peace over the days, weeks and months that come.

Oh Shawn, I'm so sorry. I wish I was there to give you and your wife hugs. Our family is praying for our new nephew who came into this world last week under emergency circumstances. He has a hole in his heart, but was a good weight and is doing well, so far.

The heat is on here too. Spent time at the pool this weekend, but with baseball(All-Stars) practices we spent lots of time at the diamonds. Games start tonight and go through Wednesday. It's supposed to cool off after that, of course!

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Oh Shawn - I'm so very sorry. My heart and prayers go out to you and your wife (and your family).

thanks d - I'm use to the weekned thing. But this is them going off on a plane for vacation and I'm not really happy about it!

Silver - I completely agree with you, the problem was he didn't.

We've got the heat now! Thank heavens I was able to get the A/C (the WHOLE unit) replaced on friday and it works. I've been doing the same thing, window shades closed, doors closed all to try to help keep it cooler.

Ok folks - we are in the count down to 2 Potter events! My girls and I can't wait for the movie and book - there will be some tusseling over that book in this house!

Oh Crazy--sorry--I used to say that if my hubby and I split up it would mean I'd at least get weekends off...but that is a very flippant retort to what I'm sure is a tough emotional time. It is terrific they have active dad participation though don't you think?
We had heat, heat, heat these past 3 days and with baseball tournaments and being outside it has taken a lot of air out of our sails. I've even kept the curtains drawn to keep the house cooler. Hopefully this week will get beter. The brown grass is pitiful....
Glad to see a least a couple of folks alive and kicking...
