Thank you so much for the great ideas! I am going to go to Chester Fresco tomorrow and will look into the drink buckets. I love this forum...it is such a great place to go to for ideas. Our event is next Friday...I will do a lot of posting of our donations after the event...I am running around like a chicken with no head doing local follow ups!!
Chandmad02 also ask them to donate a cooking lesson. They do adult, vegetarian, and kid cooking lessons. The price is not bad if they didn't donate and you had to buy it. I wish ours were not on the same day.......sounds great!
I need some help. I am putting together my class basket for our tricky tray. I need some ideas/suggestions of what I can use for the actual basket to hold the items. My theme is Mexican Fiesta..so far I have a rice cooker, quesadilla warmer, cast iron pan, a serving dish (w/separate compartments for tacos), tortilla warmer, chip & salsa platter, mixing bowls, set of margarita glasses, a pitcher, a margartita mixer, margarita bottle of mixer and salt, mexican cookbooks, placemats, kitchen towels, and a few gift cards...I am also going to get jars of gourmet salsa and tortilla chips. I am having a hard time thinking of what these items should go in...please help me! I want to be creative and eyecatching.
