Not really. Your best bets are to contact the managers of your local supermarkets. We had drinks donated that way. Or google snack or drink companies in your city/area where you can pick up. Shipping costs is prohibitive for most. I had one local company donate 50 small bags of chips. Another sent treat bags but I paid $15 in shipping. Another wanted $90 in shipping. I passed on that.
Does anyone have any recs for food donations. I got a no from Clif bars. We are going to reach out locally but wanted to know if anyone had any luck with any national food companies (fruit, chips, bottled water, energy bars, etc)
I remember reading a post some time ago from someone who had contacted their representatives in Washing ton for help with a Washington DC basket - I've looked and looked but have not found that one. Could someone steer me in the right direction? Thanks
DQ, what town are you in? I went door to door thoughout my entire town to get donations. It's the small businesses who are willing, not the larger corporations.
