My favorite gift ... hmm ...
I remember my first 10 speed; granted it was used but it was shinny, red and was mine.

As a Libra, I seek the balance and logic in situations, but sometimes I read posts that just make me want to bang my head on the keyboard. Lots of times I just don't even add my 2 cents because I don't want to drag the conversation on any longer than it already has. I look at it as everyone has their opinions and everyone has the right to voice their opinions however no one should personally attack someone because of the opinion that they hold.

Do you ever wonder if some of these people would have the nerve to say the things they do to your face or if they just take advantage of the anonymity of cyberspace to let it all out?

Let's all gather round the Christmas tree, share a cup of good cheer and tell about one of your favorite Christmas presents you got as a kid. I'll start-white go-go boots. They were all the rage and I looked so cool in them!

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Shawn - chin up bucko! Honestly - I have also found frustration in some of the boards. I know people need honest help, something they can not get in their present situation. I hope I can provide some help through my years of experience - something I know you also hold true. We do our best and it's not unreasonable to beleive that we all have our bad days.
I am sure a few more swigs of rum will get it out of the both of us!

We have birthday cake for breakfast after we open the presents. That way we never forget what all the fuss is about.

In speech class, my teacher gave us puzzles like the ones above at the beginning of every class just to remind us how important his class is in common understanding for the world. He was a bit cooky.

CC-Have some fun for me please. We are holding off on our first trip to Disney until my youngest is at least 6 or 7. That way we can all have fun. Next year we are going to the Mount Rushmore area and the year after we are going to see the husband's family in New York and see Nigara and take a trip to Canada.

For those who are wondering, my son got in trouble today for acting out. (Wonder why?)Needless to say, when the Asst. P called me in to talk to me about it, I went off my rocker. She just had me take my son home for the rest of the day. Then my husband is wondering why I'm bringing home my son, so he went up and talked to her about it. I think he got a little more resolved than I did, but I think it's because she had time to process the problems we are having 1)my son is in a school with children with special needs whose needs aren't being met 2)he is too smart for his own good 3)he is getting his work done so fast that the teacher can't keep up and she's so loaded down with the behavior issue kids that she doesn't have the ability to keep him as busy as he should be 4)his teacher is establishing rules/punishments that she isn't sticking to and so he is pushing her buttons to see what he will get away with or what she will/won't do. So we are looking into our nearest parochial school, but I think it will be a bit pricey and they are trying to figure out a way to get him into gifted and going to speak with his teacher about the strategies she should be using to deal with him. Also, he will be speaking to someone in the counseling department about his issues with the chair to the head incident. Do I think all of this will be resolved by Friday so I can have a good break, no, but it's a start. I'm off to frost my candy cane cake....

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
