Ooooohhhhhh, never mind about #21, I just got it. That's bad. A real stretch, but FUNNY!

Still stumped on #12. What the heck is a Chevalier anyway? Google doesn't even know!

GaMom - too fun! I figured out most of them. It took some google searching to catch on to #2 and #20. I'm stumped on #s 12 and 21. ??????

We go on vacation for Christmas now but I did have a routine for when our son was little. I'd set everything out for breakfast before we'd go to bed: table set, coffee maker loaded, baking dish for cinnamon rolls out, etc. Then in the morning when we wake up, just push the button on the coffee maker, pop the cinnamon rolls in the oven and then get right to the presents.

When I was a kid, we had a rule that we could open our stockings as soon as we came downstairs. Then mom would make breakfast, we'd eat and by 9:00am we were ready to open presents. It was torture to wait but at least we'd already been into the stockings so that took the edge off a little bit.

Scottmom, hope your son is doing better. What an awful situation. I remember as a child my mom trying to help out a family with a mentally handicapped boy by driving him to school with us. He was prone to hitting and I hated being in the car with him. One day he grabbed my hair and just kept pulling until my mom stopped the car and got him to let go. He never road with us again. I know now that he couldn't control himself, but as a child that was so traumatic for me because I had done nothing to deserve it and always stood up for him at school. You're right too, expelling that child is not going to help him. I give you a big hug and here's another hug to give to your son.

This week for us has been so nice. Most of our after school activities are off this week, so we have had extra time to do Christmas things and just relax. Last night the kids and I had a big pillow fight in the basement! They teamed up on me, but I held my own.

Oh yeah, Christmas morning tradition is I get up really early and make cinnamon rolls. The last two years one of the kids has shown up to help too. It's quiet, the house is warm from the oven and smells really good. I turn on the Christmas tree lights and just enjoy the time before the chaos of family dinners.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

GaMom - I will deffinately need a answer key to those Christmas Carols.
Well the week is winding down ... one last school Christmas concert to attend and we are offically on Christmas break. I don't know about the rest of you but I am completely looking forward to a ringless phone, time with my kids and the fun that we always have on Christmas morning. I think I will make a cinn coffee cake for Christmas morning this year. We always skip breakfast for something on the snack side ~ no time to eat with presents! Anyone have any Christmas morning food traditions or something new they are going to try?

I'm so sorry to hear what happened Scott's mom...We actually have a tremendous inclusion program and I've not heard of a situatio like yours. Seems the issue is more the monitoring of the inclusion children and ensuring they receive the attention they deserve to make this kind of program work.
Hang in there...I certainly wouldn't be beyond calling the front office to see what the remedy is for this type of thing if it has happened more than once....
