Awesome job on getting the house and avoiding the price war from other buyers. They keep saying that housing is suffering but from the past 3 houses we have sold I can't seem to find where the depression is - it doesn't appear to be in the new to under 5 yr house market.

We saw Eragon - Me, hubby, shorty, shorty's girlfriend - then off to Olive Garden for dinner and story telling. It was so much fun! Great movie for older kids but not for younger kids - kinda creepy and/or gross in some parts. It was a very good story - if Luke Skywalker rode a dragon instead of an x-wing.....
Then shorty and ms. shorty swam at the hotel pool while hubby and I stressed over the offer on the house. Full price + extra to build garage. There were four other families looking at it and all prepared to offer full price. Talk about perfect timing! Three guys came through but each needed to bring their wives back on Monday. Open House on Sunday went on as planned but mostly to show off builder's work and not to sell this house.
My friend and I went over to the house one hour before the open house so she could see it. The realtor said we could come in but he had bad news because it already sold. I said, "I KNOW!!! I bought it!!!" Lucky, lucky us!

We took some time yesterday to see Charlotte’s Web. The kids had a great time - had popcorn until we thought we'd be sick - Dad thought the spider was very disturbing (not a bug lover) but overall enjoyed the movie. Anyone else take some family time out this weekend?
