Silver-you got the short end of the stick. I wrap presents that I ship no matter what, even if I have to pay more to have someone else do it from where it's shipped. Have a glass of wine on me for all of your effort.

Our cookie dough comes in tomorrow. I'm excited to get it done but I'm a little concerned about losing my newly refound voice calling all the people who don't come. Why is it so hard to get people to come pickup the stuff they already paid for? Off to go play board games with the kids...

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

The only time I sent a gift that wasn't wrapped was when I sent my niece a birthday present that needed to go in a padded envelope and I bought one of the pretty ones they sell at the post office.

Maybe when they receive your gifts all beautifully wrapped they'll feel guilty and make sure to reciprocate next year.

Why am I so nice? I have spent days wrapping and shipping gifts. This afternoon I head over to all the boxes we received full of gifts, open them, and what do I find ... the presents are not wrapped. So not only have a wrapped all the gifts we are giving I am also wrapping the majority of gifts we are getting. Nice.
Mental note - next year no wrapping of presents before shipping.

Actually the sun coming out makes me more motivated to clean. It energizes me. Now if I only had the time to put forth into my house instead of running around trying to keep up with craft supplies!

Speed washing always counts unless you're using the dog's tongue to do the cleaning for you.

Yes. It's more than my floors have seen for weeks!
