CC- I am so happy for you. Gingerbeard cookies and hot apple cider all around!

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

just couldn't take any more yankee jokes huh???

I'm excited for you. i know it has been a little hard findign the right groove down here. Home is home! it's funny, that no matter how grown we get and how brave we are, we always want home.

so, now you pack again! you've spent the whole year packing, unpacking, packing, unpacking. WOW!! You are the man,or woman in this case.

Congrats to hubby! Are you sure he got done with the job early, or was it the southern gentlemen flirting with you????

Thanks, LUV. I am very happy about it. This has been a tough assignment for hubby. He did a fantastic job but it will be good to be back on familiar ground for awhile. It's only a 6-24 month assignment coming up but that's OK. He needs a breather.

Steak n Shake, here I come!

And thanks for your comment on the other post. It's difficult because I know all parties involved and it's sad to watch it happen. How did you know about the financial aspect? Years of experience? ;)

I know it's going to be a lot of work having to house shop and pack and move and unpack, but it sounds like you're really happy. I'm happy for you. Welcome back to the midwest!

That's funny because hubby called our realtor and asked her if there was a six month right of recision clause - but only kidding, of course!

We were actually thinking of moving from that house anyway even if we hadn't been transferred because it just didn't fit our needs. This transfer out and back was actually a blessing because now we can have a new house - on the company's dime. ;)

Actually, one listing we saw is the prefect place and we hope we'll get to see it this weekend. It's in the next town over so a different school ( :( ) but still just 10 minutes away from friends!

Shorty called some of his friends and they are all so excited that he's coming back. That made him feel pretty special!

With the house going on the market in January this will be my first year ever to have the Christmas decorations down before February, or March..... I'm kinda lazy about that.

Any chance you could get your old house back too?
