Before Coffee ...

Mom he's looking at me!
Mom she's looking at me and making faces!
The both of you are sitting across from each other ... looking at each other is bound to happen.

Mom there isn't enough pancake syrup; she's going to take it all!
He's lying!
Kids - SIT DOWN and I will divide the syrup. Once the syrup is on yor plates you will eat without talking between bites or your father will come to the kitchen to 'watch' you both.

All this before coffee! God help us through the rest of the day.

CC-You should do a cup with the starbucks logo instead of a cocoa mug! You could do it on an iron on. Maybe a Christmas tree with starbucks cups as the ornaments! And do the tree lights in glitter paint! Ok, so I am tired and would really like a cup of coffee so I can finish the cookie dough sale paperwork, but it does sound fun. One year, one of the family exchanges we go to, we MADE gifts to exchange. It was crazy. I made jars of cookies, brownies, cocoa and put them in a huge basket with parchment paper, cookie cutters, decorations, and other stuff. I got some candles and holders that had been decorated so they were really pretty and assortment of lighting instruments. It was fun but took lots of time. There were a lot of wreaths exchanged.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

have you told her you are moving? You could take a picture of a map and then use puffy paint to mark the way home.....and write something like "home is where the heart is" with a heart around the city. I know---cheesy, but sweet.

and use puffy paint to put the map symbols on your shirt.

I don't know what the prize is. It's usually something just as cheesy as the contest but still very fun!

I like your idea. We did buy iron on printer paper stuff so we could do that. Hmmmmm

Mmmmm, thanks Scotts!

I'm stumped. Every year for the family christmas party we have a theme and/or contest (we're total cheeseballs at Christmas!!!). MIL is hosting this year. One contest is to decorate your own sweatshirt. There's a prize so it has to be fabulous... ;) But I can't think of a shirt. Well, I did think of using scrap fabric to piece a giant mug of steaming hot cocoa to the shirt, outlined, of course, in glittery puff paint. Did I mention that we're really over the top cheeseballs at Christmas? Anyway, I'm not sure the giant cocoa mug is the thing for me.

Hubby is painting a pattern that matches the decal on our racecar - The Sorcerer! Shorty is making a Battlefield 2142 shirt. I'm looking pretty sad in comparison. ????????

Maybe we just have more free time than is really fair!?!?!?!
