Why is it that I have nothing done this week - hmmm ... could it be that I have been physically in the school a minimum of 10 times a week since school started unless it's a holiday. AGH! Time to set up that spa appointment!!!!

The company I work for is Six Sigma, but this is our subcontractor. However, the engineer should have caught it when he signed the paperwork. And, yes, it is my favorite coworker, so this should be interesting. You know if he had to do my job, he'd get why this is so important.

I just want to go home, hug my kids, and go work book fair with my friend. That will cheer me up.

Oh yeah, and it's girl's night out tomorrow. Giant margarita, here I come!

So, your's isn't a 6 Sigma company then? There's a good business practice for weeding out the stupidity. Hubby loves it so much that he thought it would be a great system for me to bring to the PTO. Uh, no. In theory it would be excellent. In practice - disaster.

Besides, I think computer cables in the sock basket are a pretty good clue that I may not be the one to tell others how to get organized!

Oh no, they couldn't make them all compatible. That might save you money.

Stupidity is reigning supreme around here still. The fundraising concept is not that hard. The amount of money you have in your envelope has to match the amount of the orders you take. Why is that so hard to understand?

Then there's work. They're making up new part numbers as they go along based on what the defect is. NO, that's not how it works. I don't want to have a billion different part numbers for the same item!

Help, the stupid people are killing me with their contaminated brain cells!

It's finally happened. I'm a victim of my own absent-mindedness. Usually it's hubby who suffers and occasionally our son. I finally found my computer cables after a month of non-stop searching..... in the bottom of the sock basket....

Once I found them, it all made perfect sense how it ended up that way. Now I get to hook everything up and get some real work done. Oh, I've been working, but from the laptop, the phone, hubby's computer, the shipping depot down the street. It's all been very fractured. It'll be nice to have my office set up so I can do all of my work from one room!

One question - Why does every single computer component have a completely different kind of cable, power supply or parallel port? It's not like you can run to Best Buy for a replacement. And good luck trying to find them on the internet. I had almost resigned myself to buying everything brand new just so I'd have all the right cables. Aye yi yi. There should be an industry standard.

Mmmm, I made that Apple-licious Pork Tenderloin recipe I mentioned on an earlier page. It was oh so yummy! I worried that it might be sweet with the jelly but the onions and cider vinegar balanced it nicely. Also, I used firm, tart apples instead of soft, sweet ones. I served it with roasted red potatoes instead of rice. Hubby even liked it and he's picky....
