Question: Nominating Committee report

I am a member of the nominating committee. I have read our bylaws and standing rules but having a hard time finding out who we submit our report to. I know we have to submit it 15 days prior to the election meeting... but who do we submit it to? The current PTA board? and does the report have to stay confidential until the election meeting?

Typically, a nominating committee would present its nominees to the board and group members at a meeting before the elections are held. There should be mechanism to make the nominee names public so people know who is on the ballot before they vote. If there isn't a meeting before the election, could you notify parents by email? It is helpful to let everyone know.
