Question: Initial choosing of leadership roles in the PTO
We are starting up a PTO in our town. There are 4 founding members at this time. At our institute board meeting with the school we were told that 1nperson in particular had to run it or the board would not work with us. Now the 4 of us are splint with 2 wanting to appoint leadership roles and 2 wanting to hold a vote. Have leadership roles ever been appointed to start a PTO? Obviously I am one who wants a vote and I just need so serious feedback since we are having a meeting between us to figure this out. I appreciate the time and info.
